Cruise Control (Audiovox) dim lights

I just completed the install of the Audiovox Cruise Control on my 99 Interstate. When testing power the lights on the control switch were bright. After getting the airbox installed, I checked power again and the control switch lights are very dim. I've checked all the wiring and see no issues. I've put a charger on the battery, just to make sure I have a full charge. Has anybody seen this issue or have any ideas?
