Please take the time to read this and if willing share or help out.
The lady it's about looked the same as in the picture but with studded double Corbin seats and side bags.
Not yet been able to take photographs of her as I am still confined to bed recovering from the accident.
What I know about her condition so far is that both wheels are broken, front legs, lights, windshield and radiator bent and cracked.. They've been able to start her so hopefully no mayor damage to the engine.
Thanks so far.

Awkward English and tech terms.  Hmmm.

Couple that ^ with recent press coverage of the generous VRCC support of a local charity in Billings....

What's the VIN number and what color is it? Where was the bike made?

I know black/silver was made in '99, was it also made in '97 which is what he said the bike is? I have the yearly color code chart somewhere, just don't feel like looking for it right now.

Just checked....the black/silver wasn't offered in'97. Creates some questions I guess.

Let me enlighten you
Solo1
I'm from west-flanders Belgium to clear up the 'awkward' English.
Thought I spoke it reasonably well
I'm a cook so any kitchen terms will surely be more accurate than my tech terms.
No idea when you were born and as for vrcc, I joined couple days ago.
O yea, do you think we get any news coverage about a charity event in the states here?

OK, who's next
Britman the questioncreator...
Maybe you should read my post again, then again maybe i was not clear enough.
The picture posted is not my lady but looked (meaning is not!) the same.
OK I didn't mention she was black but just checked again, and no ,
this one does not have a studded black leather twoseater nor studded black leather side bags.
Looksy booksy 1997-1999 apart from colour are soo alike.

And finally Mr. John Smit
Let me help you out with that....
Living by the sea I find that good personal hygiene tends to keep the fishy smell away.
As far of my bike, she smelled like leather, oil, gasoline and freedom.

Hope that does it for you officers.
The sarcastic tone might be because I have to give proof of the existence of the bike I used to ride every day, the becoming reality check that I'll most likely won't be able to ride again due to damaged spinal nerve.
But I get it.
Would have reacted to a post like mine just the same
Wish for you you'll never have to post one like mine.
Thanks a lot for your support guys, really appreciate it

Lingi: Your recent membership caused all the speculation. Can you afford shipping costs for parts (used) from Arizona? I have some of what you need.

Tim

Sorry to hear of your accident.  What happened?  Sounds like your Valk is in pretty bad shape and it might be better to replace versus repair if that damaged.  Can't imagine the frame was not damaged based upon your other descriptions and the injuries you are suffering.

Prayers for your complete recovery.

There's really no point in starting to collect parts until you've had the frame closely examined by an expert who can testify it is undamaged.  And, fixing the bike properly may indeed be more money than the cost of purchasing a roadworthy Valkyrie.

To be honest, there are several red flags being waved in our faces with your request.  I am sure you can explain them all away:

1.  Your introduction to us is with a funding request.  This leads us to believe your sole purpose of relating to us is to take from us.
2.  Your story is all about blaming others for the situations you find yourself in.  You take no responsibility for your predicament.
3.  Your GoGetFunding page has been up for a week now, and none of your friends or family, who know you best and are most likely to be sympathetic to you, have funded or commented on your request.
4.  Your GoGetFunding page is in English.  Why not Dutch of French, the most common languages of Belgium?
5.  You are making your request on a forum frequented by mostly Americans and Canadians, rather than on a European VRCC forum, where people might actually be close enough to help and do a little checking into your situation.
6.  You say nothing about what repairs your father's insurance will cover, assuming he actually still owns the bike.
7.  No actual pictures of the bike, before or after the crash.  If your dad loved the bike, he'll have pictures.  Even if you're immobile, you can send someone to get pictures of the damaged bike.  Makes me wonder if the bike actually exists.

With all heartstrings-tugging descriptions of your father's beloved motorcycle set aside, it's not the wisest use of your money to fix and ride this big, expensive, fuel-guzzling motorcycle for transportation.  Oh... Wait... it won't be you paying for it, it will be generous donors.

Yeah, what he said  cooldude it made me wonder about there not being any one close to him giving money.  Serk can you see where else he has posted this or any other scam asking for money?

Based on info provided I would almost bet the frame is toast. Concentrate on healing for yourself first.

Well Mr. Lingi, you almost made your point....but failed on my post. I'm not the one that posted the cat smelling something fishy. I merely raised the question of the year of the bike based solely on the picture provided compared to the year of manufacture you listed....1997. I didn't pass judgement then, don't plan to now.

@ johnsmith
My apologies,  new to this. Been misreading names/ posts.
@f6john
Thank you
@ gryphon rider
Thanks for the tip, I'll contact someone to check the frame for me and take some pics.
Your list is indeed explainable. But your smart points and opinion made
only show me that you don't see.
The following is not meant in an insulting way but there is a big difference between smart and intelligent. All that you've so smartly summed up regarding my post in obvious and prejudging presumption I am a crook .Very smart of you, but also insulting my intelligence. If I wanted to make money you really think an old bike is the way to do it?
As you so disrespectfully put it
"not the wisest use of your money to fix and ride this big, expensive, fuel-guzzling motorcycle for transportation"
If ever one could fall in love with an object I did. Indeed most of  my wage went to fuel.
But man i'm the least bit interested "taking" from you. Nor gathering funds for the cash.
See gryphon I know in the end a new one might be cheaper, hell probably even better. But man it is not about a Valkyrie, it's about this one. Transportation? It became so much more! Often I see 2nd hands promoted " only 30-40-50 000 km"  I did over 35000 in the few years I rode her, Expensive? To open that throttle shooting further to where ever is priceless. And in hope frame is undamaged I WILL get her to ride and shine again.be it piece by piece and as long as it takes.
Sandy gets what I try to achieve and I'm very grateful for that.
@Sandy
I thank you man, can you check what the cost would be.
Or I will gladly look into that, have no idea how they charge.
Weight, size, or quantity of items. I'll get back to you.
