A couple of weeks ago I posted a picture of a beautiful corn
crop... this crop was dead sticks when it was two feet high
last year, with the drought...

We're still getting scattered thunderstorms most every afternoon
like we're supposed too, so it is still a good summer... but I passed
the corn field again and... summer's half over!

Anywho... this post is supposed to be about musicians and riding...
I've been playing music with some folks up at Mountain Rest on
Thursday evenings lately, and some of them have motorcycles.
We meet up at Jeff's house, there's a Hammond organ with a Leslie
speaker and a grand piano and amps and drums and monitors all
down in his basement... here's me and Jeff fixing to leave on the ride...

We met up with Tony, he plays guitar, a little ways up the road...

Tony lives near Tilley Creek Road (

we rode down Tilley Creek Road. Stanley Steamer and I led a bunch of
Valkyries down Tilley Creek Road at the Asheville InZane, that's the last
time I was there...
We saw this truck

My dog ate my
homework go-pro, so there'll be no more of those kinds
of pictures for a while...
