I ordered a part for my lawnmower which B T W shares the Phatt Ghurls cave. All mileages are from google. Disclaimer and info. Jacksonville Arkansas 187 mile from Willow springs Missouri. My part went from Jvil Ar to K C Mo-429 miles. From K C Mo to Springfield Mo-156 miles. From Spgfld to Willow Springs Mo 80 miles. Sooooooo what 665 miles to go 187 miles Plus it went from the shipper to the post office in Jvil handled there and to K C handled twice-off truck back onto a truck to Spgfld-handled twice to Willow springs-handled twice and maybe Monday I'll have my part. I KNOW it can't go direct but I'm thinkin I could have drove down and back in one day. Bit more money but I would have had my part in hand. Glad I ain't in no particular hurry.  I have also seen the Fed Ex truck and the United Parcel Service trucks delivering to the post office here in Willow. Not SURE what that's all about. MIGHT be some of the WHY of the post office cursed near broke? Too hot outside to do much of anything. Heat indexes here bouts been in triple digits last week or so.  :-X Wasn't the pony express faster?  :2funny: RIDE SAFE.
Today is the tommorow you worried about yesterday. If at first you don't succeed screw it-save it for nite check.  1964  1968 U S Navy. Two cruises off Nam.

Heavy traffic ?   Fed X works with the Post Office And UPS cannot deliver to a Post Office box so UPS has to deliver to the Post Office. UPS does nothing for the Post Office.  I cannot explain all the jumping around your package is doing but you should take it to the postmaster and fill out a complaint to end that kind of BS. I would in a heart beat.

Also, to add to the mix, the USPS contracts with Amazon to deliver Amazon packages on Sundays. I know because my son works some Sundays and he's a postal carrier. I asked him how he was working a Sunday and he says, "We're delivering for Amazon".

I got a package on easter sunday. I asked the guy delivering what the deal was. He said all he was doing was delivering amazon packages. I was like really, on easter? I couldn't believe it.
