So I was tired of having the top of the windshield almost always directly in my sight line... So after reading up on it from other members here and the VRCC, I taped it up and hacked it off.... About 2.5-3 inches... now the wind hits me right on the top of the head/helmet.. buffeting seems to be better also... best part is the view!! Took her out and ran here up to triple digits.... Actually seemed better overall than the taller version, but will see what its like for a longer trip soon. It was a Cee Bailey 1" shorter and 4" wider than stock as I remember. I might have to trim the ends a bit, but going to live with it for a bit.

You can kinda see what it looked like before.

Only one person gotta be happy with ANY change made to yer scooter. That person be you.  cooldude Looks good but I already tried that cut down W/S thingy and mine WILL remain at stock height. While I didn't make I-17 I am always amazed at All the different takes on our Valkyries.  cooldude RIDE SAFE.
