Acadia Mountain rises 681 ft above sea level in 0.6 of a mile......
Less than an hour and we were at the top....
Had never done this without snowshoes.....

With the influx of visitors predicted for this summer,
there's a good chance the island may start to sink back into the ocean.
High ground is the only available option, auto roads will be choked with gridlock.....
