was purchasing a couple half gallons of O J today at my local Aldis in West Plains Mo. When I got them home-bout 22 miles to my casa and was warming up-I looked at the Amount in what I THOUGHT was a half gallon-64 ounces-container BUT the print on the side indicated 59 ounces. 5 ounces LESS than a half gallon BUT the Same price as a half gallon! NO-NOT really. $1.89 WAS the price for a half gallon. Doing the math with 59 ounces costing $1.89 a half gallon NOW Costs $2.05! MIGHT sound minor or a bit petty but I try to be aware of my grocery dollar(s) and attempt to get the Best VALUE for MY money that I can. Would have rather they just Raised the price of a half gallon-Oh WAIT-they Did!  Raised the price by Decreasing the Quantity!  RIDE SAFE.

I know what you're talking about, Dennis.  I have an old Oreos tin. it was just the size of an Oreo package. Four nice rows.  Now an Oreo package fills the tin less than 3/4ths.

I also have a Saltine Crackers tin. A pack of Saltines still fills the tin perfectly.  They must've raised the prices.  Not as sneaky!

Yea, been fooling us for years. Will have a display of something in the front of the store (great deal), then find a better price back in the store, buy the larger bag of dog food to save money, but no the smaller bag is the better deal. Larger bag of chips with less chips inside, pretty sure toilet paper has larger cardboard tube than they used to, on and on.

Just like big companies doing more with less and giving less.
