Hmmm... Given the latest hint by our tree-like friend I'm kinda wondering if riding across the infamous Mackinac Bridge will be on my to-do list, should I make it to two Inzanes in a row...

Be careful taking Carl's hints... I'm not sure this one served you well.

Obviously, the location has not yet been selected, but all the possibilities being pursued are within the circle.

However there are two high probabilities that if one of them panned out and Serk were to choose the wrong road, even by just a few miles, the original hint given him would be voided.

In saying that it's closer, I am considering only the fastest route (per google maps).  I cannot be held accountable for a more circuitous path.

Understood and already accepted.  Serk understands what I told him.  I can't know who else might.   Wink

So... Any chance of another hint or three to distract us from other, more unpleasant topics we've been discussing as of late if nothing else?  coolsmiley

I'm just hoping for east of the Mississippi River, and preferably a cool location....temp wise that is. I need to be able to make the trip in ten days or less, at least that's how it is at the moment. However the future isn't in my hands so guess I'll see when the time comes.

Perhaps this will help you; perhaps not.  Considering the limitations of in CONUS, not upon water, not in the general direction Serk traveled for 2017 I have created an improved Serkle.

Las Vegas in mid June ?  Shocked
Most of your modified Serkle is virgin territory for me. I'm good with anything east of Texas and north of Florida.  cooldude

Ok, hold on there... Remember, it'll be in a different direction for you.  It will be in the USA.  I will not be in the Gulf (or any other body of water).
Oh, good; that eliminates southern Manitoba.  I haven't ridden all the roads in southern Manitoba, but I've ridden/driven enough to know they're aren't many (if any) likely to be described as "twisty".  There have also been times (e.g. 1997) when southern Manitoba could be described as a body of water.

Northern Manitoba has some interesting roads as well as people, especially Churchill.  cooldude

Wow, N & S Dakota is in the running. I made Spearfish before, it might just be possible to make another IZ without having to wait 2 or more years to get closer to the West Coast.

Hmmm... Is there much to see on the eastern side of the Dakotas? Never been there so I don't know but was always under the impression that most of the pretty parts of those states were on the western side.
