I like the bike, not sure about the landing gear.

Pay close attention, this is what an idiot looks like.

Seriously, just because you can, doesn't mean you SHOULD.  I'm seriously dismayed by all the junk engineers have come up with, to generate their job security.  Chief among them dodads that enable you to drive while distracted and with NO SKILL.  Yep I have accidentally dropped the bike by forgetting to put the stand down.  But not for 15 years or so - do it a time or 2 and you won't again - WITHOUT AUTOMATIC LANDING GEAR. I especially hate the new driverless tech. And parallel parking cars, and automatic braking - lets depend on that, then it's another complexity to break - not to mention cost. Gives a whole new meaning to "computer crash". Once something is possible - it's not long before politicos mandate it.  Car ads now tout all the wonderful comm tech and the screens with tons of features to distract you even longer. I remember when they talked about car performance, handling and even mileage. If you can't learn the skill, STAY THE F OUT OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT.

I can see the landing gear concept being good for someone who is a competent rider but has a handicap with their legs.

Duz ya REALLY wanna trust yer LIFE to a computer operating a vehicle that is near on 70' long 13' 6" high and 8' 6" wide?? And flirtin with 40 TONS weight?? Yes I realize they have auto pilots on aircraft. BUT rush hour in the air not near as crowded as rush hour round a major metro area. AND I also realize Some of the folks in the cab of a big rig should NOT be there as well as in a cage or on a M/C. Dumbassko in his cage either side of rush letting the puter drive it while he texts watches a movie and listens to the radio while munchin on fried chicken. Coroner PROVES dumbassko Was in FACT texting and doing all the other stuff and the techies PROVE the puter took a crap when it was REALLYREALLYREALLY Needed. Soooooooooooo WHO is at fault?? Seen the ads for all the new tech. Been honing my skills drivin and ridin fer a day or three. Too cursed old cranky and ornery to put ANY trust into something electronic I KNOW how to accomplish with my mind and body. RIDE SAFE.

there used to be a old rider over here that you would see riding around the car park at the end of the odd group ride.... turned out he was waiting for mates to get of to hold up his bike when he stopped as his legs would lock up and he would need help getting off, I asked how he got on at intersections etc, he used to go in slow and just edge forward until free to go, last resort he would ride on the foot paths etc....and he stayed out of town on the bike... plenty of places to ride with little traffic over here.

Something like the setup above would have helped, but there are better setups than the one above Smiley
