great story!  I have been in trouble once in Arkansas on the Mulberry river....the water wasn't even knee deep but threatened the wife and I  to be swept off our feet and pinned into a large rootball of a downed tree--I couldn't believe it--it took 15 minutes to move 10 feet to safety and were cold & exhausted--no one else was around as it was a weekday...God has a plan for me..
