I just realized that I am saying the exact same thing as Robert in another post earlier than mine...but here goes anyway...Please Sign the petition even though in 4 days they have already reached 135,000 signatures.(100,000 needed) Show these Antifa bastards what real Democracy has the power to do. https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/formally-recognize-antifa-terrorist-organization-0I can only look on from a distance and am very concerned about what is happening...I cannot vote. |

Unfortunately, what seems to happening is the haters and anarchists of both sides are clashing. It's very difficult to take a stance and side with the Klan in defending something. Anything. I can fully appreciate that there are folks who oppose the removal of history who are not nazis and not klansmen. But, when the nazis and klansmen are the ones in the front marching for the same thing, it's too easy for the other side to group everyone together. Therefore everyone opposed to removing a statue is a racist. Then, when the president says that there were good people there on both sides (referring to the non nazis and non klansmen), he is intentionally taken out of context and reported to have said that he believes the nazis and klansmen are good people, and said to have given carte blanche to hate groups.  I truly believe in free Speech and all that it entails. I believe that for me to have that right, I HAVE to acknowledge that everyone else has that same right. No matter how vile their speech, or beliefs are, it's NOT my right to silence them or one day someone may silence me. If antifa or others who oppose the klan had peacefully protested, I would be defending them as well, but we can't defend, and we should punish the ones who came with bats and helmets. That shows clear intent to silence the opposition. |

When there is a group of violent fascists going around throwing feces, firing flame throwers, flinging urine, punching, and stabbing people they disagree with (Or just that have a haircut that triggers them) I wanted to give you an opportunity to distance yourself from them instead of standing shoulder to shoulder with them and defending them. I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt and every opportunity to distance yourself from these folks. |

I feel that their birth certificates are actually apology letters from Trojan for failing to protect us all. I think that somewhere there is a tree working tirelessly to produce Oxygen for them. They need to find this tree and apologize for it. I think that somewhere there is a village missing it's idiot. I think they're slightly more despicable, more vile, more sad sacks of fetid whale excrement than even Antifa and BLM.  |

At the risk of putting words into Mr. Head's mouth, what I got out of his comment was that just as you won't judge all Antifa as violent morons based on the actions of a few, neither should you judge all of the "Unite the Right" protesters as violent Nazis based off the actions of one. |

Video I saw showed the cops shutting the whole thing down. They forced the crowd with the permit to leave the area. They had no where to go except for directly into the path of their opposition who had weapons and were wearing helmets. There were no police escorts. It was like what happened at all those Trump rallies where the folks inside were let out into the waiting fists of Trump haters. But, right, they came armed to defend, not to fight. Right. |

BTW, getting back to common sense and reason..........
Would a Nazi, or KKK sympathizer, who is a very wealthy and powerful man, actually allow his daughter to marry and Jewish man, and also allow her to convert to Judaism and raise his grandchildren Jewish? Would he put on a yamulkah and pray at the wailing wall? Would he shake hands with and profess friendship the Israeli prime minister? Wouldn't he stand with all those states and countries who want Israel gone instead of professing his and the countries allegiance to Israel?
Why are folks so easily persuaded to hate and believe the worst, even when the facts don't support it?
