Took it out this afternoon for the first high speed run, it jumped up to 70 so quick it about blew me off the seat. Kinda scary. Figure I'll watch for something on Craigs List or maybe Ebay, but it's going to need a w/s before I'll take it on any rides. Highway speeds beat the crap outa ya.  :D  Anybody have a Menphis Shades laying around they want to unload? Need the mounting hardware also.

Remember, Memphis' goes by headlight cutout size.

The only new bike I ever owned, I had to go to MD to find what I wanted.  I came down the DC beltway at high speed (and no windshield), the wind got under my DOT half, and the chin strap literally started to strangle me.  I had to either look down at the tank (instead of the road), or push it down with my left hand to keep from choking.

I stuck a Memphis Big Shot on that Mean Streak (biggest sport shield they have).  Not quite as much coverage as the traditional Fats, but good coverage, and looked good on that bike.

Not mine:

Jerry, I like that one in Carrollwood, just have no way to get over to that area to get it. Would hate to pay shipping.

UPDATE: Just ordered this one from National Cycle. Looked at Memphis Shades but they're much to expensive. You buy the w/s and then still have to buy the hardware to mount it, which about doubles the price. And, they only sell through dealers which makes the price go up even more. This one was $159.95 including the hardware. Is tinted and has the gradient black at the bottom like the picture. Has 4 point attachment, two on the handlebars and two on the forks. I'll probably have to move my turn signals down a bit but have plenty of wire and space for that.
