EARLY RTE this Saturday

I picked up my Phat Gurl from Grumpy on Sunday, and rode it home. It is presently being detailed, and I have been told I can pick it up late Friday afternoon. Weather permitting, I will be at the Speedway about 7:30 on Saturday AM, and plan a short  (1 hour or so) ride to Breakfast at Ma's Vittles NLT 10:00. KSU at the Speedway at about 9:00.

Hope everyone sees this update. Weather for tomorrow is iffy, and the detailer is not going to have the Valk done until about Noon. We will have to shoot for 09/09/17 for the presentation of the new and improved Phat Gurl. We will be in NC for my eldest son's wedding, next weekend. I will try to get some pix and post them tomorrow afternoon or Sunday AM>

      We have another one of four per summer - Friday Fest on the lawn at the Van Weeze - Will be home late and shot.   But hoping to finish my project bike this weekend and look forward to the following weekend at the cottage and get the VALKS out, I told Nick he can run the Hot Rod iffen his is not ready. Have fun.

An early ride, the VIP attendance by Mr Tourus and getting to lay eyes on your cool Valk makes it very tempting BUT I am going to have to pass on this one unfortunately. I'll try to make the next one

Heading up to Ocala on Saturday to get my national park pass before it goes up. Taking the jeep but might stop over for breakfast.  Won't feel like a cage since the roof and doors will be off, maybe do some 4-wheeling on the way back.

I've had one for quite a few years, I'll show you tomorrow when you come over. Rita and I got ours some time ago and it has paid for itself many times since.

In case anyone missed my update to the OP, I am cancelling tomorrow's RTE. Weather looks iffy, and the Lady doing my Detailing will not have it done.  I will be in NC attending my son's wedding next weekend, so I am shooting for  09/09/17 for the Grand Unveiling of my Phat Gurl.

Well we went to breakfast and drove up to Ocala left the top up but took the sides and doors off. We hit rain about a dozen times but we stayed dry. The Ranger station was closed but I got to talk to one in his truck. We stopped of at Russell Stoffers chocolate store on 44. .49 cents for a marshmallow bunny .99 for a chocolate one. Patti spent over $30 in chocolate I spent $30 in gas.
