Noon news and weather-NBC affiliate-N W S projections for rain fall from this storm 14 inches to as much as 30 inches and maybe More. Corpus Gonzales and Houston are the uh-targets. And my local gal was talkin the next 3 or 4 days! My weather gal stated when that storm makes landfall that it will plant itself fer a spell. To all my Friends there in South Texas-make cursed sure your weather radios are functioning if you choose to ride this monster out. And iffin yer gonna git-git now. Prayers up to ALL in that monster storms path.  If yer gonna git-PLEASE-do NOT wait too long. RIDE SAFE.

Love it! I was thinking about this exact same thing this morning. They want to have us take hurricanes seriously then they name it after a 6' rabbit??

They need to come up with terrifying names for these storms. Like super villain names. Hurricane Darth, Hurricane Lex, Hurricane Attila, Hurricane Khan.

I would hope anyone in that CAT 4 area would be long gone by now for the next 3-6 days since heard it will go inward but LOOP BACK around and get some MORE rain coming right back at them again.  Some 20-30 inches of rain in 3-4 days just cannot imagine that much in such a short amount of time. 

Heard it could be just as bad if not worse than Katrina - NOT good at all.
