What is the latest of rear tire on front?

Needing a new tire. Is the 150-90-17 roadrider still the best way to go? And reverse the tread?
Have saw long past threads on this but are 2012 etc.

I'd have to look at my tire for the exact brand,but yes I run a rear belted tire on the front,with reverse rotation..no adverse affects..none.Think tire cost me $70.

I just mounted a Dunlop 404 130/90 17 (rear) on the front of my tourer and posted a report just a few minutes ago.  Summary is I likey.  I think I bought it from partzilla, or revzilla--can't find the receipt.
