I know it's all relative and compared to those hit by Harvey we are quite blessed!  However, I am getting tired of rain.

But, this morning was a glorious cool clear morning and Judy and I took the Cobra bike and a couple friends from Church and we met up with Greg.  Greg is a VRCC member staying here in Pensacola working on a construction project.

Four bikes headed north through the Blackwater Forrest for breakfast and some fellowship.  We made a gigantic circle and ended up where we started, missed all the rain that did come in AGAIN!  Best of all we made a new friend.

Can't complain about that for a Saturday morning.

I'm tired of that liquid sunshine also. We put new sod down on the curb side of the lawn, half of it is dying off due to too much rain. That stuff isn't cheap and looks like I'll get to replace about 1/3 of it eventually.

Thanks to Jeff I enjoyed a great ride in the Panhandle of Florida Saturday.  We stopped for a great breakfast in Jay, Fl.  This little, but impressive restaurant was a treat!  Great food and great company.

Hi back to Ya Meathead.  I'm hoping for another Arizona trip.

When I arrived back at my motel yesterday the rain hit.  Where it came from is hard to tell.  Every day it seems a pop up storm lands where ever I happen to be.

Thanks again Jeff!  I have 7 more weeks. Maybe we can do it again.

Would like some of your liquid sunshine, say 4-6 inches over two weeks.  IT would clean the smoke out the air and at least slow down some of the fires in our area.  We did have some 26 hours of breathable air, but smoke came back in last night with a vengeance.  Had to see more than half a block from our home.

Glad you got in a ride.
