A great thought, Dan, he worked on it at Inzane in Morgantown, and I was very happy with it. But I'm going to leave it where it is, and see what happens. We're discussing used motors. As long as the scooter is still scooting, I have no problems! Thanks for thinking of that!

Maybe I should restate my question.  What is so wrong with the current engine that it needs to be replaced?  Bring that thing here, I'll fix it once and for all

I believe there is clutch debris everywhere in the engine. In the oil galleries. Between the bearings. Any place the oil goes. He says it won't run any more. The black smoke. he hasn't torn into it yet, and I'm not pushing, he'll have time over the winter. The improvement in the scooter performance last year is good enough for me. Plus a Valk owner was very satisfied with their work. Thank you for your kind offer, what's another year between trike rides?
