Due to the problems that I had, the summer is gone with no trips in the Miata, even small ones.

I also have lost my energy and have been lax in walking. It all piles up. Gotta get going again!

Hopefully, after another trip to the Urologist in late Sept. I will be planning on spending a few days in southern Indiana, color change.

Fall begins in less than a week. Geez, not many miles driving this season.  However, I enjoyed DDT's stories and others on this forum about riding.

Don't even want to talk about PMS (In this case Parked Miata Syndrome)due again this winter.

Anyone planning on a side trip to flat Indiana, my door is always open for some tire kickin'.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger! Wife had vertigo for 3 weeks. I had #8 kidney stone for 3 weeks, finally removed the hard way....fetch and grab. Stent for 5 days. To add to those 5 or 6 weeks my aunt died. I never hit the road. Feel like summer passed me by. When I had that kidney stone I was supposed to take a week trip (planned for weeks) into the U.P. That hasn't happened as of yet. Not sure it will??

Now bow season is around the corner. My band is busy as well.   I love to bow hunt as much as I do ride.  So I will have to split my time. The 11 year anniversary of me getting whacked on the xway us coming up on October 30th. That's one day (weather permitting ) I take a long ride. Like you say, it's time to get with it.   cooldude

Wayne my Hoosier Friend I can relate. Since I went down last August my mile total(s) have well and truly sucked. Been averaging 12-14 thousand miles a year and since I went down maybe 600miles? And Phatt Ghurl has been on the lift awhile. Lets just say my tags were due in April this year and til now NEVER been late retagging. Heat and humidity make things extremely rough with my breathing situation. And parts are self relocating making reassembly "interesting" if not "fun".  uglystupid2 Wayne-PRAYIN yer health lets you do stuff You enjoy and the sooner the better. RIDE SAFE.
