He says his understanding is that it needs a starter.  My guess is that it was hydrolocked. Starters just don't normally go bad.

If it's real it's still a good price even if it has to be repaired or parted.  Of course, that sort of depends upon shipping costs.

Just the pods lights are worth some jing.
