Epididymitis

Any of our fellow group members ever had it? I found out today that I got it. Was working up last Friday with sever pain in my left testicle. Felt like someone kick my there. Tried to get into doctor but couldn't until today. They determined that its Epididymitis. Gave me some antibiotics and sent me on my way. I don't wish this pain on anyone. Soaking in the tub has gotten a lot of respect from myself. It's the only thing so far I have found that dulls the pain and allows it to be bearable.

Be VERY careful with that. I had one removed when I was 14yo from a twisting and cut off of blood supply. It's called torsion and epididymitis. I'm not sure how common it is but yes it hurts lots. My son had it at the same age and because I had it we caught it in time.Check with your DR. and make sure it is not twisted.

Had it when I was about 30. Happened along with a nasty urinary tract infection.  It's also called a "rebound infection". Took Bactrim for quite a while to get rid of it.  If you wear boxers,  they don't help either. Gotta keep the boys from movin around. Drink a bunch of water! Ice.

When I was going through medic school they said us boys don't pee enough. Stagnant urine may cause such a deal. That was what supposedly caused my issue.

                         Told us in the Navy if your urine is lots yellow or heading to brown you ain't consuming enough water. Moving furniture working construction summer and winter always had a lot of water available. I keep water near me in the house and whatever I'm ridin or drivin. RIDE SAFE.

Thanks for the advice and info. Will start drinking more water and I already switched to briefs. Hope to feeling better soon.
