I have been disappointed by him many times as Quarterback of the Cowboys. He always seemed to choke in big games. But....this guy is really good as a color announcer. He is very enjoyable to listen to his knowledge of the game.  cooldude

Yah, I have heard him commentate a few games and was sort of skeptical of his ability to do well, but overall I enjoy his fresh, not as boring, commentating and his perspectives on the game, so far anyways.

I said the exact same thing last week. He really does do a great job, sounds like he's been doing it for years. I've always liked the guy, even though was a Cowboy, he seemed like a decent guy.

Of course he is, he came from Burlington WI only a few short hours away, if that.  I did not know him, but knew someone who went to school with him and he was a nice kid back then, pretty down to earth overall from what he said.    He was a good QB, but still think he was overpaid and just good, but not a super great QB..
