Unexpected Ride

Yesterday Rik and I did a last minute Roosevelt/Globe loop ride.  It was nice seeing Rik again and he was getting around pretty good after his ankle surgery.  We ate breakfast at Butcher Hook restaurant in the Tonto Basin. Food was good. We had great weather and had a good time. I stop at D&D on the way home to pick up some things I had order and ran into Sandy. We talk for about an hour. It is funny that I had no plans for this Saturday on Friday morning and all that change from a phone call from Rik on Friday night. I got in a 270 mile ride and were able to visit with 2 old friends for a while.

Isn't life grand!!
