They said I should have my package today!  2funny I have my doubts. 5 Oct 2017 my order was picked up by DHL in Compton Ca. Order left Compton Ca. on 7 Oct 2017. Got to Springfield Mo. on 9 Oct 2017. Left the same day for St. Louis Mo. Took to the 11 Oct 2017 to arrive in Hazelwood Mo. 12 Oct 2017 it left and went to Des Moines Ia. Last I checked on the tracking it are still in Des Moines Ia. Dumb Asses. RIDE SAFE.

I had a package from Louisville KY., going to Tucson AZ. end up in Paris France.
The FEDEX chick was very apologetic and helpful. It was really no big deal.
I asked if they could put a sticker on it like an old steamer trunk.

Sounds like here, If I send a letter (check) by mail to someone here in town, It goes to Medford Hub  (about 85 miles away) then back.  Real cost savings on USPS, but takes two days to go across town.

According to the tracking info my package IS in Willow Springs Missouri. As of this moment Still NOT in my possession. If the nice young lady is doing my route today I may even receive it today. If the guy is doing my route today someone on the other side of town might receive my package.  Lips Sealed RIDE SAFE.

I just started a new job Monday that is supporting the USPS mostly on the tracking of mail. It's a real eye opening experiance the amount of sophistication the USPS is using to deliver your mail today.

Well the wanderings of my package were not made up-ALL  the info I posted was what the tracking number relayed to me. oleman posted for a letter to go cross town it went to a facility 80 some mile there and 80 some miles back. Same deal here on cross town letters-80 some miles to Springfield and then 80 some miles back here to be delivered here cross town. What I am able to gather from the tracking info is-nobody at dhl or usps can read a map. And as an aside said wandering package has indeed arrived at my casa ONLY 5 days after the "promised" delivery date!  Lips Sealed Glad I weren't waitin on some portant meds fer savin my life and REALLY needed em by the 13th!  uglystupid2 After this go round I have a cursed good idea as to who NOT to use for my package shipping chores.  Roll Eyes Thinkin the old pony express might could have done a better job.  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

This is ironic as I just got off the phone with USPS and told them to send a package back to the sender after having a similar situation.

About 3 months ago I hit a deer going to work.  Messed up the grill, a headlight, a blinker housing, pushed a bracket in my condenser which put a hole in it.
So I need a headlight, grill, condenser, drier (a/c), and blinker housing.

Being a '99 Sentra the parts are not just laying around anymore, so I go to e-bay.

Find everything, and all for "free shipping"! So I ordered all on the same day, 5 different companies.

Having not been on e-bay for a couple of years, and moved to a new house last March I forgot to change the address on e-bay, but we still have the old house, which is vacant.
We did put in a "change of address" form with the post office, like we're supposed to.

Of the five items I ordered, 2 came to the old address, 2 came to my new address.

After about a week or so the 5th item (blinker housing) came with a COD charge of $20 attached.
Wife didn't accept it, nor would I have.  With the extra $20 charge that's $10 more than I would've paid going to the local AutoZone.

When I called to see what's up with that I was told this last piece went to Corpus (90 miles away) to get the address changed and that's were the COD charge is coming from!
When I questioned why the other items made it with no problem, or extra charges, the guy could not tell me!

So once I get reimbursed for the part (if I will) I'll re-order and get it sent to my new address.

Seems to me that they'd skip the $20 COD charge and deliver the part as now they are going to have to deliver it back to the sender. in California. Unless they think they can get the $ from them, which I doubt.

With this kinda organization it's no wonder my taxes have to bail out the USPS every year!!
