Bike coming towards me. V twin, ape hangers, biker Long bushy beard, brain bucket AND NO WORKING HEADLIGHT .

As we pass I see that the headlight is covered with louvers like an Aldis lamp. There's about 10%of the light visible.

I bet the rider thinks he looks so cool.

Whose fault will it be when someone "doesn't see the bike???

Narrow 2 lane road. I'm driving the school bus.

Large red pickup coming towards me in the other lane going BACKWARDS. I'm braking looking for an escape off the road in case the idiot starts encroaching my lane.

Every time I am in Florida it seems I see cars ahead of me with nobody driving, then the right signal goes on, then they turn left

If I pull up alongside I see a very tiny old person who cant see over the steering wheel

  I'm sorry but that really gave me a chuckle, reminds me of an old joke....for another day and time.

I live in a small retirement community and I do see some here that probably shouldn't be driving. Actually they drive too slow.  Statistics for drivers over 80  show more fatal accidents, probably due to increased fragility as we age.  That's another reason why I quit riding.

Yes, we seniors can be a danger and it does show up in insurance statistics.

However, again, however. what doesn't show up ...yet, is the stupidity of younger drivers driving and texting and THAT was another reason for me to quit riding.  How do you predict a texting driver's intentions or what he/ she does?

I would bet that you'll see very few senior drivers texting on a new fangled smart phone, LOL.  I have also never saw any senior driving his car with red running lights.  Of course, if you see two little beady eyes appearing UNDER the steering wheel of a Buick with a handicapped sticker, be aware.

Believe I related this before but here goes. Running east outa Ft. Worth Texas after delivering my chickens. Morning rush hour in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. I'm in the middle lane and this pickup passes me on the left with a young female putting on her make up while doing a bit better than 65 M P H. Her lane stops and she stopped-after hitting the stopped vehicles. Read a Dallas paper the next day looking for witness's to her accident. She died. When I called the listed P D number the P D informed me I was about caller 6 or 7 with basically the story I related above. Had she been paying attention she Might have lived longer.   Seen a lot from the high seat I wish I could forget. RIDE SAFE.

I can't believe how tall some of those hangers are. They're almost...well, hanging from them....

A couple of days ago I saw 2 people on a Yamaha at an intersection in the left turn lane. Didn't think much of it till I pulled up beside them. In between them was about a 3 year old, + or -.  I looked at the rider and said "you've got to be shittin me"! He said F you and took off. Now there was about as dumb, stupid, assnine and ten as it gets. No helmets, like that matters!

Hey Oss - Just remember one thing. For the most part these Q-Tips that can't see over the steering wheel are transplants, mostly from up Y'all's way!
