Well, we went out for our first 2-up ride in about 6 weeks. First we were looking for a house, then we found the house and had to get ready to move and then finally actually moving to the new house. We are 100% in the new place so we went for a short 50 miles to Tortilla Flat AZ...very nice ride. Valkyrie is in the garage, now it is Valk related  cooldude

3 or 4 years ago when Bonnie and I were in Phoenix - connie and mike loaned me one of their Valks and we rode to Tortilla Flats with one of the Kinter kids and Mike K and a few others

Surprisingly to me, the tortillas were not flat! and it was a nice ride once off the interstate (Its all interstate from Surprise to the turn off)  We ate at a nice  (ghost town style) restaurant out that way but I forget the name   Perhaps it was Tortilla Flat, the last stagecoach stop on the old Apache trail ?

Best of luck in the new house.  We will be in Scottsdale then Sedona in May, maybe finally catch up then

Nice house.  What I wouldn't give for a 3-car garage.

And after decades of mowing, fertilizing and watering lawn..... that is my kind of lawn.   cooldude

nice house, no maintenance both lawn and new house, hard to beat that, more time for riding this time of year.  Those other  say about 5 months though of 100+ degree heat would be too hot for me to ride.  They say it is a dry heat, but still feels near 100 to me..

It is hot, I rode all summer..ATGATT and the hottest it got was about 120deg, made me want the cooler temps, but a day on the bike is better than in a car even an old Fox body Mustang with COLD AC
Congratulations on the new house. See you guys in a few days.  cooldude
Nope, it'll just be me...too long a day for the furry kids
