Question for Tom Tom Rider users

I have a Tom Tom Rider GPS on my Valkyrie. It has a port on the bottom of the unit for plugging in to a computer for updates and such. Is it possible to utilize that port as a charging point for a cell phone?
My thought process says it has to have a hot and ground in there somewhere.
Just an idea I thought I’d ask.

plug it in and try it. It may be just a data port so it won't work to charge your phone if it is.

I called Tom Tom and they do not build or sell a power cord for this application so, I may have to build one.

Might check online. What kind of plug does the tom tom take? I assume it's a mini usb and what kind does your phone take? Probably a micro usb. Im sure someone makes what you're looking for.
