yah, saw that 5 bucks off the 4 gallon blue jug at my local farm and fleet on sale for 19.99 - 5 dollar rebate is 15 bucks for 4 qts. .  Hard to pass up even if it is 5w-40 vs. 10w-40 oil is still synthetic and our Valks are not fussy on weight of oil.  I use it on my Can Am ATV's that require 5w-40 weight oil so far no complaints.

now that I have 5 bikes, thinking 4 bucks per qt. is much better and easier on my wallet than Amsoil at near 11 bucks per qt., at least for 2 of my Valks.  I am guessing the 1983 v65 magna and 1997 magna will be fine with it as well vs. 10w-40, agree?

Ahhh, does your Farm and Fleet have a 4 gallon blue jug of Shell Rotella T6 for 19.99?   Or did you mean 4 quart?   My WalMart is 21.xx for a 4 quart/gallon jug.   The rebate was not advertised at my local WalMart, but is on the Shell website.

Yes, agree.....it will be fine.  Been running in my bikes for years.

oops, meant 4 qts. not gallons, my bad.

So,  honda magnas like rotella T6 as well as Valkryies, good to know.

I think neither bike is fussy in terms of oil as long as changing it every 5000 miles or so or once per year as is my case usually.

5 Qts. of this NASCAR approved full synthetic is a great choice as well...especially for 90 degree plus riding weather(but maybe not a good choice for late fall riding in parts North):
