Not trying to start anything here but I think that the division between certain parts of this country has gone way past the point of no return. I am not sure what can be done about it.

There is going to be 2 opinions, the conservatives that hate that she has made this a big political issue, and the liberals that love that she is making this an issue. Why was she involved anyway? Why do people think it is ok to do this to a gold star family and especially a wife that just lost her husband. Maybe a liberal will come along and explain why they think it is ok.

I think it good that the President called the families and I like what General Kelly had to say. I did not like what the congress woman did.
But, there are some that disagree with that/me. [ to put it politely]
I agree that this country has become more and more divided over the past 9 years. I'll stop now.

 Any loss of our brave men and women is to be mourned Either side to exploit it is not good I heard Kelly's speech and could not find anything to disagree with him Some Presidents made the calls others did not, this one happened to make some calls. Why it was not a private call and was not allowed to remain such becomes a stain on the congresswoman that shall wash out about the same time I forgive Jane Fonda for posing on an AA gun in Hanoi (hint- about 100 yrs after she is dead and gone is too soon) I pray for our country every night and sometimes more than once a day. So far so good we are still here

The Congresswoman is a good example of just how low the left will go to try and make President Trump look bad. Just about any statement can be mis-interpreted or mid-construed, this is a stretch even for a lefty.  |

As we find more and more the left attacking Trump in so many ways I am less shocked to hear of things like this knowing and having confidence Trump would be compassionate to them and knowing the propensity of the left to lie. So I guess Trump would make a phone call to one Goldstar family and be respectful and to another not be respectful. Yea Im sure especially since Trump stopped his motorcade for a traffic cop that got into an accident and asked if he was OK. Trump has been more respectful to those that serve than any other president in recent history. You seem to show much disrespect for a man who came to the US on its good graces. |

The girls and women of Mount Vernon High School in NY, predominantly black, held a charity fashion show and booked President Trump's country club in Westchester for the luncheon and show. He just happened to be there that day, peeked in and saw what was going on. When the ladies went to settle up with the venue, they were told that Mr. Trump had taken care of it.
