Switched power supply

The last couple of weekends (when we weren't out riding) I have been upgrading the I/S with LED lights and a fuse box. Also finally installed a Stebel Nautilaus air horn that I've had for 2 years.
I have some fog lights installed that I changed out the H3 to LED. They were wired by the PO to be hot all the time. I've had issues with forgetting to turn the damn things off and have damn near run the battery down a few times. I have looked for the accessory terminals under the right cover but cannot find them to save my life. Is there another place I can connect the lights so that they won't come on unless the ignition switch is on? Perhaps in the fairing somewhere?

If the PO did a neat job of wiring the fog lights, you could use a relay to control them. You can energize the relay from any nearby key controlled circuit. Any NAPA store will have them and most have a mounting lug to fix it in place.

I use the Accessory leads under the right cover to energize a relay to supply power to an Eastern Beaver PC-8 Fuse Box.  This allows me to distribute switched power to anything that needs it.  It is also wired to have 2 Hot circuits should I desire.

That's pretty much the response I'm getting. Problem is trying to find those acc. terminals. Going to start gently tearing the harness apart this weekend.

The should be hanging down near where your CB and CD Changer hookups are (the 2 DIN Plugs) they will be covered by a black boot.  Might be buried behind all the other wires in there.  They do exist.
