Sucker runs like a scalded dog, be glad(and a little sad really) when it's gone. Literally....everything is either new or rebuilt on the bike so whoever buys it shouldn't have any problems.

John, I love it. Looks like it would be a blast to ride! It's my color too. Sadly, since I have a Valkyrie in my garage that I haven't ridden in 3 years, I am not a potential buyer. I hope 2018 may see my bike back on the road with me in the saddle.

Once this one moves on down the road, will there be another project?

John, that looks like a blast to ride  cooldude

I like the rear fender moving with the swingarm.

Are those Valk calipers?

Good luck with the sale.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Hook, no...they're OEM for the 1200, front and rear. They could have easily been off a 1500 Wing, that final fits the 1200 as does the rear brake setup, axle, caliper mount, etc., just takes a little grinding but other than that it pretty much bolts up. A number of 1200 owners have installed a 1500 Wing rear end for the stronger/heavier unit. I would have but couldn't find one for "my" price. The Valk final doesn't fit up to the swingarm but the Wing does....go figure.

PS: Yes, it is a blast to ride.  cooldude

Dennis, probably nothing for a while....so I've been told! Guess who?  Wink  I'd like to get a decent deal on an older pickup, maybe late 60's to early 70's when I believe the Chevy C-10 was in vogue. I'd modernize the suspension, if it needed an engine then pick up a crate engine, overhaul the tranny. Interior would depend on the condition, as would the paint. So far my arguments have fallen on deaf ears.  Cheesy
