Has anyone installed and used a National Cycle Switchblade 2-up windshield made for a honda vtx1800 to fit a std/tourer Honda Valkyrie?

I looked it up on National Cycle windshield and guessing only difference is vtx1800 part# N21107 is 1/2 inch shorter from headlight cutout to top of shield and 2 inches shorter length overall top to bottom.  Both take the same mounting bracket Q103 though so it should fit right?  I would hope the 2 inches shorter length is mostly on the bottom thus even lesser of a chance to interfer with any headlights/turn signal upfront right??  National cycle of course is not open today to ask being a Sunday otherwise would call them up.

Sorry that I can't answer specifically for the VTX, but the NC brackets can be installed within about a 4" range. I didn't like that the shield sat about 3" above the headlight bucket with the recommended install position, so lowered it.

agree,  would want the shield pretty close to the headlight within an inch or so for sure, if possible.

I will call national cycle tomorrow since sounds like no one put a vtx1800 NC switchblade 2-up on a valkyrie to see what they say.  I found the shield somewhat local asking 80 bucks.

called National Cycle the tech said it should fit just a smidge difference is all in height should work he said by moving around the mounts on forks some since there is some adjustment able to do on both similar cycles.  Angle of shields is the same he said so 1 1/2 inches shorter on the VTX1800 should be o.k. to install on Valk.   Headlights are very similar in size he said not an issue there.
