If staying in Moab how long does it take to see the parks there? Is it a day thing or 2? Trying to work on our 2018 trip and planning on 2 nights in Moab but if I can cut it down then I may.

In my opinion one day is good. If planning on hiking or 4wheeling 2 days. I think Arches is only #2 to Zion.

I’d say 2 days for arches n canyonlands (my favorite) that’s taking time. Could be done in one if pressed

Yup, one day to see, two to really explore and enjoy at a leisurely pace. Make sure you take a gander at Dead Horse Canyon too.

Capitol, Grand Staircase and Glen Canyon are stunning.
Arches is good if you want to hike to see stuff otherwise it's ride through the park.
Mesa Verde is worth a visit

Moki Dugway overlook. Do not approach from the south unless you want to do some rough dirt road switchbacks

2 days at least. Was there in 2010 and liked both of the ones mentioned above enough to devote a day to each. And if you get close enough Mesa Verde is definitely worth a trip there also.

Cool vids. Went to 4 corners last yr. Busy place. Went by mesa verde but didn't stop due to trying to get to Mexican Hat at a decent hour.

I can imagine the road at moki. We were just south of there at valley of the gods. About lost it in a dry creek bed. 6" of sand. I had her get off so I can make it back when we turned around. Major fishtailing getting back up. I think the CT is the only reason I made it.
Mexican Hat is a cool little place. Def worth the night there.
Will leave Moab and stay in Escalante for the night.
