Veterans Weekend Ride...

Still not sure if I can make this one my wife goes in for back surgery this morning at 11:00 her second after breaking her back in a fall last year. I know Mac doesn't do group rides on this one . I'm working between Resaca , Georgia and Summer Shade , Kentucky and have been traveling the area around Dale Hollow Lake everyday. Our powerlines are all over this area and I've found some awesome backroads around the lake some my 22 wheel tractor-trailer is in both ditches on each side of the road ( with escort ) . Just wanted to throw this out if I make the ride or not some great riding to be had around the lake and as of yesterday the fall colors are really outstanding. Check a map out look for Free Hills , Love Lady ,Hilham ,Butlers Landing and Celina . Hit the small roads going to the lake some deadend at the lake but still make's for a great ride on some backroad twisties. This is a very doable day ride from the Thunder Bird also check out Standing Stone State Park if you ride out that way .
