Shoulda pulled the plug in 1975.
Read, "Helter Skelter". WOW!!
Granted, I was in the Navy, out at sea, and I was a Photographer's Mate, but I read that book in a day and a half.

Well I guess that book is closed, finally.

Dead at 83 with the most of the last 50 in prison.

No RIP from me.

Burn his body and let the wind spread his ashes.

He isn't worth further comment.

He is now on the longest journey any of us will ever face. The only thing that has changed is his physical body is just a bag of bones starting to decay. I can only imagine his future but I am sure he will face a just reward for his time on earth.

He was evil personified. Not sorry to see him gone. The scary part here? There ARE others who want to emulate him. Sealed weighted container then that container sealed in concrete and the whole mess dumped in the deepest ocean on Earth. How long did he live on the gubmint dime? RIDE SAFE.

I don't have it in me to celebrate the end of anyone's earthly life.  It's truly sad, a tragedy, for someone's existence to have been wasted to such evil purpose.  I felt similar at the hanging of Sadaam Hussein.

He's gone.  It's good that his evil was caught and stopped as early as it was.  He certainly did seem to have made himself the embodiment of evil.

Normally, I would agree with you.

Although, I am somewhat indifferent about Manson's death.

I must admit that I did break out a bottle of good bourbon and happily celebrated the death of Osama Bin Laden!
