Nice find. Buffalo Springfield, still got my seen-better-days vinyl since converted to mp3. Another one of those timeless groups that even my 32 year old son grew up listening to and enjoying. Thanks for the post!

Thanks for the post! Gary, I think that is Poco. They came after Buffalo Springfield. Buffalo Springfield had Neil Young and Stephen Stills. My first album I bought was Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young "Four Way Street". Great music back then.

A steady diet of Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds, Poco, Flying Burrito Brothers, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Pure Prairie League, the Eagles (original lineup), and Commander Cody back in the 70's to 80's brought myself and friends into the country-rock genre. I've never left. Saw Poco three times in four years (the original lineup); Rusty Young thrashed a pedal steel like no one that I had ever heard before, he ran that board like a banshee. There was a good balance in that band over time, even with the changes in personnel.

Understood and agreed buddy, I was just referring to the tune, the BS t-shirt, etc. which is where my aging memory took me. I guess I temporarily went insane, you know, like a smoke ring day when the wind blows... at least I think it's only temporary.

You're ok...Jim Messina, Jim Fielder, and Richie Furay were all members of Buffalo Springfield; so the lines of succession to Poco are interconnected with Stills and Young. Understood and agreed buddy, I was just referring to the tune, the BS t-shirt, etc. which is where my aging memory took me.
