Thanks.   :)  I'm trying to make the BBQ. Other than being mine, it's nothing special.   It's the usual black and red. I'll have some questions as I get to know it better. I'll take some pictures and try to figure out how to upload them.

(It's nothing special) Wrong, it's a Valk and their all unique and making it your own by adding accessories that you like is what seperates it from the rest :cooldude: even Larue's looks good and its got Hogley parts on it ;D

How many miles are on it, mine has 81,000, I've put 30,000 on it and had my first real issue had to replace the alternator, I'm happy with that :coolsmiley:

John Schmidt

We kept it simple, together we bought a new wide screen flat panel TV for the bedroom. A smart TV with all the bells and whistles, 4K UHD....blah, blah, blah. I'm going to attend a 3-day engineering course at UCF to learn how to use the darn thing, which is going to be rough since I've forgotten all my Calculus. ;)  I may just go back to viewing my 10yr. old 32" Sony with a CRT and let Rita mess with the new one. Might get her a new remote for it for her birthday!  ;D

Had a nice QUIET day with only one visitor and he was an adult. Had a sad tale of a new bike he had just rode over to our house a week ago. Was sitting at a light, #3 back, woman rear ended him with a slight sideways hit from the right. That caused him to go to the left side of the car in front, big Volvo SUV, so it didn't sandwich him between the cars. He's pretty sore, cracked his high dollar helmet and scuffed his leathers but otherwise untouched. The bike....it's up to $9500 but the frame seems ok. As for the two of us....I putzed in the garage working on a different seat for the 1200, ordered some new Viton valve seals for it, Rita spent the majority of the day sleeping....something she's doing more of lately.  :(

I have an uncle and my mother doing the same thing, sleeping all the time.  My father makes sure She is happy, about all one can do. Thankfully my mother is a happy Alzheimer's at this point.

I expect delivery any day now of some custom engraved Motowings to go with the hardware that ChrisjCMA  brought to the cottage. Thanks Jeff, I will surely post pics when installed.  :cooldude:

Well on my Christmas wish list, I asked for a big container of M&M's and a 1/6 scale model of a Valkyrie.  My daughter came over with two boxes for me.  Both are too big for the M&M's, but the other one just might be what I really wanted.  It's about the right size, even though she told me that when she tried to order it, it was sold out!  I hope she's lying!  Lol

What grade and type of oil does Santa recommend, there's always a lot of different opinions but Santa should know what's best for the gurls  ;D

Size of the box could be a decoy or a lot of M&M's the other, you will have to wait to see if she lied ;)

I bought myself a 2007 Goldwing with lots of extras. The Goldwng has Navi, upgraded heated seat, audio, heated grips, cruise control, and best of all REVERSE. Reverse is the real reason I bought it, my lung disease causes me to become short of breath with the slightest bit of exertion even while using oxygen. The Goldwing is a great bike, very comfortable, great handling, lots of power but not as fun to ride as the Valkyrie. Valkyrie's are great bikes and I would have never considered anything else but need the reverse so put a bottle of oxygen in a backpack and off I go. I still have both but ride the Goldwing the most :coolsmiley:

For me a tank bib is a must and having dual pockets makes it that much better, you did okay for yourself. If you left it to someone else it might have only had 1 pocket :tickedoff: ;D

I only use mobile 1 full synthetic and change it every 4,000 miles. Maybe to soon and some will say I'm wasting my money but I'm ok with it :cooldude:

DGS65

I use Mobil one full synthetic as well I have changed it far more often then every 4000 miles!  The bike is a 98 and only has 4400 miles on it.  I have only owned it less then a year and I have changed the oil twice already not that I wanted to but had a petcock issue that made this a must.  I'm not complaining I love the bike it sat much too much this was to be expected I guess.  I have it running great just wish I could bring it with me as I'm heading to Florida in about an hour sadly the bike will stay here in NY in the cold.  Can't wait until Spring!

When I first bought my Tourer I changed the oil 3 times in the first 640 miles, Mobile 1 was the winner :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2:

I just realized my Christmas present, to myself, I'state is 1 year old. I put a little over a rather disappointing 7000 miles on it. One of my New Year resolutions will be to ride more. Hopefully a trip to Taos will be in the cards.
