All those old British an German cars are beautiful,I just wouldn't want to pay to fix them. I had a Jaguar XKE and always fixing it. Wish I had it today. I had to learn how to rebuild the engine an do valves.

Is that a CSL 3.0? David Hobbs use to be a BMW racer in one of those. (Among many other cars he raced)

Probably. Hard to tell what the base car was for him some years by the time they'd re-done the bodywork. Loved watching the Hobbs & Bell finely tuned wrecking crew at Road America "back in the day" along with the likes of Donahue, Rahal, and others I can no longer remember. Good times, awesome track. Looking at it harder, the roofline looks a little different, or the car is shorter? Looks a little earlier than a CSL 3.0
