They have ! It seems like it's on everything also. I wonder if it's because people are actually paying those kinds of prices ?

Probably has more to do with how many they have, recent sales activity, and the number of available wrecks they have been able to buy.

People may not be paying those prices right now, but a company like that can hold those items and prices until desperation stricks those who are willing to pay to get their Valkyries back on the road. I am sure they are well aware of the fate of our bikes and the lack of parts in the future. Observe the classifieds, look at the words “unobtainable”, “no longer available” etc etc, and the prices that follow them.

If you are riding and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

With the price of our Girls are commanding for lower mileage, decent shape Ladies, I have been sorely tempted to snag a third. As much as it would pain me to part out a running Big Girl, that would give me a parts bike. I have been looking at insurance auctions for a parts bike but they are going for as much or more than a running Lady. So I blame the insurance companies for the ridiculous used parts prices (since I dislike the legalized extortionists anyway).

I notice now that it appears they will let you make payments......has that always been the case or is it something they have added to make those prices affordable for some ???

Well, the thing is, I don't need any parts. Was just noticing how much Pinwall has increased the prices of the ones they have. That Interstate is a nice looking deal

You may be able to find a take off from a trike that would be cheaper although it might be hard to find. Got a brand new one for my 1800 for 95.00.

The interstate seems a bit high for mid winter with 112k on it.....I picked mine up in overpriced Canada in october for $4000 with 40k on it....I guess I'll start looking for a parts bike!!
