Coastal storm forecasting 12" plus, with wind gusts of 65mph........

Double-checked the gas for generator and snowblower.... good to go
Beer stacked high and wine in the rack..... good to go
Flasks and 'skins filled with cough syrup..... good to go
Camera batteries fully charged..... good to go
Enough food in the freezer to last a month..... good to go

Hell yeah, bring it on....let's have some fun in the snow !!!!!

The weather folks are talking about a Bombogenesis coming, where the barometer drops 24 millibars in a single 24hr day.  Like when Sandy hit up there.  It's not that uncommon, but it sounds bad.

Anyway, were not supposed to get much snow down here in NoVA, but the cold is going to be single digits for a couple days.  

And the radar front all along the Eastern seaboard is looking ominous.

I just went out to move some snow.  I checked the weather first and it said it was 22*, but felt like 9 or 10.  (and blowing like hell)

I put in a couple hours, and the weather people lied.  I didn't feel like 9 or 10, I felt like 64.
