Bar End Removal

This may be a dumb question, but can someone tell me how to remove the bar ends on a 14 Valk...I recently acquired a set of weighted ends and want to try them...but  I  couldn't figure  out how to take the oem off...I am the type that will pull and pry until I break something and then screw everything up, so I decided to ask first and then pry  and pull. Thanks
