I think your talking to the wrong crowd here about this.

I dont really wear a watch but was eyeing the Apple watch since my son has it and he actually uses it quite a bit. It all depends on what you want one for. He picks up his messages on his and calls, the Fit Bit I heard is pretty good.
agree, all depends on what you want it for which you never said originally. Fit bits are fine for basic stuff 100 bucks or so but the apple watch and others like that which are more expensive does more. Both YOUNGER guys in their 20's and most others in their 20's at work have them thinking is NEEDED. I suspect most of us on here over age 45 or so do not think they are NEEDED, more of a novelty item. Both guys in their 20's at work have commented to me they have done blah, blah steps per day walking, blah blah calories burnt, blah blah answering phone, etc., blah blah counts sleep time. Personally, I could care less on all of that. They think it is cool and a MUST have, to each their own. If I am going to spend 200+ bucks on a watch, it better serve me a nice beverage, otherwise will use that money on a new TV or needed items like paying the bills.
