He texted me he was about 20 miles out, later my wife and I were sitting on the front porch sipping coffee when shortly I see this huge rig rolling down the street. I told her "well, so much for thinking he could park in the driveway." Grin  Our backyard is plenty big however, it's called the 7th fairway. They probably wouldn't appreciate it anyway, so he parked in the street. Was good to see my old friend of many years, I was surprised he went right to work checking the valve lash which hadn't ever been done(all were in spec after 47k) . Bike runs so good I didn't ask him to do anything else so he finished up his work this evening.

For supper we ordered "take out" from Outback, treated Bill to a ribeye with all the trimmings and asked him dine with us at our table. All the while, Aussie the dog was laying on the floor between Bill and me. Nothing went to waste on either plate. His pooch is a real love and seemed to take to me quickly but I have a feeling she pretty much does that with everyone. If I stopped fussing over her, she'd shove her nose under my arm and jerk it up as if to say "I'm not finished getting strokes."

Tomorrow he heads out to his next stop west of here, think he's headed for south Florida after that. Hope to cross paths again in June, sure was good to do some catching up now. Happy Trails!  cooldude

I've had him work on my Valk up in NY State. I texted him that I'm having problems with my GL1200 running erratically down in Tarpon Springs, Fl. However, I have to head back to NY around January 30th for a while. I have a feeling the time he gets to the Tampa area, I'll already be gone!

I believe he's headed from my place(already gone this morning) to Winter Garden, west of Orlando. From there it's Kissimmee and then south Florida. According to my understanding he will hit the Tampa area on his way back north from south Fla., you might want to text him for specifics.

I texted him and he's unsure about getting to Tampa before January 30th, but hey, I've got my fingers crossed!
