Fuel pump mounting

Might be a long shot... but does anybody have any pics of the fuel pump mounting in the bottom of the tank? In particular, looking to see the details of the flange.

I have this pic from a tank on ebay a few months ago, but cannot tell if the mounting plate has a raised ring on it.  Yea, I could drain my tank, remove it, and remove tank - but call me lazy...

Now you made me curious since I have had my tank off a few times and actually never gave notice of the flange on the bottom. OEM parts pics are pretty good though.

Is this for the 1500 conversion?  I'm sitting here wondering, "How would a person fit all that stuff in a different tank?"

Yep, for the GL1500 conversion.
The 2014 Valk pump actually fits nicely in the Legacy Valk tank - I was pleasantly surprised. After looking at various external options, which were all complicated, I took a gamble, purchased the dam pump, and started with a 2" hole saw in my IS tank - I was REALLY relieved when it worked! :roll:

However, I have to make up a flange to weld to the tank to secure the pump.
I have pump and base gasket - but the Honda parts pics do not show a detail of the mounting flange.
The pic I indicated shows what could be a slightly raised flange - or it could also be a shiny circular flat place where the base gasket seals. 

Just had a thought - did a quick search hust now, and the gasket is also used on the VFR1200, the Crosstourer, and maybe the Euro Transalp.  Will check other sites later to see if someone has posted pics of those.

Just a thought before you get to far along, the fuel pump for the Valk is different from the wing and F6B and both have different pressures and regulators. Now I know you are not afraid of modification but this may be something to think about.
