I think I love this day more than SuperBowl Sunday. I'm pulling for Jacksonville. These guys have a lot of talent and swagger on defense. No offense to the Patriots organization, they are and will continue to be at the top of the heap. I'm pulling for the Vikings for a completely different reason. I will never be able to side with one of the arch enemies of the Cowboys.
Hope those of you who still watch the NFL enjoy the day as much as I do.  Wink

I'll be watching as well, would be nice to see Jax upset the Brady Bunch....but doubtful. I kick back in my big Lazy Boy, turn on the TV, usually I watch it for a time....then it watches me.  Wink

before the playoffs started I predicted a jax/eagles superbowl.
I'm a eagles fan so I despise the cowsluts.  if the cowdungs are not in the playoffs it was a great nfl season for me. I luv how seahawks made them look like the lousy team they are.

jax/vikings would be cool for a change of pace.

never would have thought at beginning of season that the lonely vikings would be even in the playoffs.

If the Vikings beat the Eagles, then it will be the first time a team has hosted the Super Bowl...

That would be very cool.

Go Vikings!

While I respect the Patriots for being able to stay on top for so long (very hard to do), having someone new win would be great.

Well darn, I was pulling for my FL team, Jags.  Undecided What a great effort against the Best team of all time to date. Congrats to Brady and his NE team. Well played by both sides of the ball.  coolsmiley

Yeah I had better things to do. The boys acquired 2 guinea pigs so I was busy building them a custom cage. Gave the bloodhound a bath and helped the wife fix dinner. Just 3 things more important than watching a bunch of over paid cry babies chase a football around a field. Watching paint dry is more amusing than a NFL game.  coolsmiley

Yeah, same here Bob.

The Jags played a great game 1st half, but I knew the famous "adjustments" would be made in half time.

I actually 'half-watch' the first half of most Pats games. The second half is where all the good stuff happens.....

No intention of watching the Super Bowl.  Have watched less than 10 minutes of football all year.

Thought I would miss football but found I really don't.

Not sure if I would go back to watching if everyone stood for the national anthem.  A lot
of my riding buddies feel the same way.

It's really hard, REALLY hard to believe that the Pat's are the good AND that lucky at the same time....???
It seams that they ALWAYS get a big call in their favour late in games...and also NO PENALTIES!?!?!?! As an "outside" observer, it is WAY to coincidental....They need to present some level of equality of officiating....It's the same thing every time, Pat's are down and a call goes their way, or MANY calls go their way....

exactly and this goes for many teams/games every yr. one call can make or break a drive and change the out come. How do the bookies win all of the time, they need help on the spreads. WWW-NFL is somewhat manipulated and has been for decades. actually had a bookie explain it to me when I was 18, never made a bet again. even told me to watch a game on tv, end of game happened just like he said, refs helped one team to get in fieldgoal range to score the 3 pts, which made a tie on the points.

the one rule that needs to be changed is the pass interference where the ball I believe is spotted at the point of the fould/interference which can be say a 40 yard penalty if thrown a distance to receiver.  It should ONLY be a 15 yard penalty and 1st down is all.  Way too many games are decided by a LONG pass interference call.  Plus, some of the pass interference calls are petty and should let them play it out unless absolutely a non questionable pass interference call.

I think it should be 15 yards and a first down from the point of the foul. If it takes the ball into  the end zone then oh well. How many fouls were intentionally committed to prevent a 40 yard gain knowing it would only cost 15 from way back there.
