Just heard Trey Gowdy is going live on Fox at 10am.
Can't wait to watch.
His talks are usually very good.

The man always impresses me with his "to the point" discussion.
There is so much going on here it boggles the mind.
The FBI wants him to release a memo he produced for his colleagues, that he says is just a synopsis of what they (FBI) provided him. Stalling tactics?
What I liked the best about his interview, is how he said twice, these FBI/DOJ developments "breaks my heart" and I believe him.
This country could use a couple hundred more politicians like him.

Do you REALLY think anyone will ever be held accountable for anything??
Gowdy talks a great, and I do mean GREAT, game, but he, and the rest of congress are totally useless and ineffective. Think about how many times we've seen Gowdy, with his name on the plaque in front of him at sooooo many hearings. Now think about the outcome of these hearings and all of his speeches. Not much to think about right. Has anyone gone to jail? Has anyone admitted to doing something wrong that is punishable? Has ANY of the illegal blatant acts seen an outcome in a court of law? We've heard about communications and records that have gone missing, been destroyed, held back because the defendant felt they weren't important. We've seen co-workers and colleagues plead the 5th and cut deals, and still no crimes (pleural) were prosecuted.
Sorry, I don't have the same praise for Gowdy as some of you. He hasn't given me any reason to hold him in that esteem.

I think a lot of folks have given up on watching the live events (assuming they are in a position to do so) because they simply can't tolerate watching 60 minutes of grandstanding, blatant lies, and diversion to get 1 minute of actual event. (At least that's my personal view.) |

The new texts were included in a 384-page DOJ document release to Congressional investigators last Friday - during which Congress was notified in the cover letter that that five months of text messages from December 14, 2016 to May 17, 2017 have gone missing (If only the NSA had copies). Ratcliffe referred to would have been hard at work. Ratcliffe was joined by Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) to discuss the latest developments with Fox News host Martha McCallum, when Ratcliffe said: What we learned today in the thousands of text messages that weve reviewed that perhaps they may not have done that (checked their bias at the door). There's certainly a factual basis to question whether or not they acted on that bias. We know about this insurance policy that was referenced in trying to prevent Donald Trump from becoming president. Pilot could find no guilt in Jesus but the mob mentality took over and they wanted blood and they got it. Just look for the facts hidden in all the opinion and posturing, it can be filtered out but it takes a lot of attention to detail.  I think your reaction is funny and your statement is accurate. But even Jesus in His day would have been considered a traitor, it was only after His crucifixion and the day of Pentecost that they found out who He really is. God made the way from the beginning of time to redeem us. If you remember the scripture where He said to John the Baptist when He was being baptized in the Jordan" it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." |

Just a coincidence Don't matter if it's a coincidence or not, just like two private airplanes happening to meet on the tarmac in Arizona one hot afternoon. Precedence has already been set. A department within the gov't, or working directly for the gov't, is able to have their staff and lawyers, regardless of classification clearance, Clarence, review all of their documents, including the classified ones, to determine which ones to hand over, which ones to not hand over, which ones to say are missing, which ones to say are destroyed, which devices get handed over and then returned, and which devices get beach bit and hammered out on the parking lot. Nobody is gonna be held responsible for anything. I am basing this on HISTORY. History just within this last decade. Some actual horrific examples of full blown corruption in government, in different parts of government, with people pleading the 5th and making exoneration deals, were presented on a silver platter. Layed out plainly and clearly in a Gowdy speech or 2 or 3. And nothing happened. Lois Lerner is a free woman. Hillary Clinton almost became president and now writes books about how it was all against her, yet she still won the popular vote. What makes a second world, or a third world country, a second or third world country,...... The government and the level of corruption within it. Look around the world at all of countries that are failing their citizens, being overrun by terrorists, etc. What do they all have in common? Corruption in their own gov't. AND MORE THAN HALF OF THE PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY WHO VOTED, VOTED FOR THE PERSON WE ALL KNOW IS CORRUPT. What does that say about us as a whole? |

I think your reaction is funny and your statement is accurate. The hierarchy of the Jewish faith we’re afraid that Jesus would take away their authority and power over their people. Authority and power that equates to wealth. Jesus challenged many of their teachings and they saw the crowds he could draw to hear Him speak. It is my understanding that while Jesus was a Jew and performed many miracles he was not accepted by them as the savior foretold in the scriptures before or after the resurrection. To this day the Christians are waiting for the second coming and the Jewish faith is waiting for the first. I know way off topic, and just opinion for consideration. |

I couldn't agree more. I've been waiting for anyone in DC to be accountable for ANYTHING for years. The evidence has been there, but nobody has been prosecuted for a single thing. Trey Gowdy talks a great talk, but the result is always the same. It feels like nothing more than a dog and pony show. I've seen more posts on FB by all of the conservative sites that say stuff like "This will take down Hillary" or "Obama will finally face justice" and guess what? Yup. Nothing. I'll believe it when I see it. |

I don't pay any attention to it anymore. That makes me uninformed but it seems to me that the informed ones can't or won't do anything. Hearings after hearings by Trey Gowdy have resulted in a waste of money, no accountability, and no fines or jail time.
Sorta like Janet Reno who took full responsibility for Federal overreach (tanks against civilians) at Waco but no punishment.

To all of you who have served in government, you know the drill. If a man or women stands for truth and right, and justice, ,20 more stand for cover up and worrying about getting re-elected first and foremost. Trey is trying, but he has ten fold working against him. He is out gunned by swamp creatures looking to save their own skins and their re-elections. I only state this after 16 years in government , trying to do what was right. It is a losing battle!!! I gained a lot of experience, but would never serve again. I have never been a pessimist, but trying to win for truth is a losing battle in government. Greed and power rule in that arena. A sad state of affairs. Kind of reminds me of good lawyers, they don't get rich!  |

Again you are not wrong, but there is more. Read Isaiah 53 who is this person that Isaiah wrote about 700 years before Jesus was born. Then ask yourself what was the real cause of the crucifixion, greed was the motivation. For a study who is the child of faith and who is the child of flesh in the old testament and what did God promise them and their descendants and did God's promise come true? We see Jesus many places in the Old Testament and we see the battle of good and evil and the turns that many lives took that could have derailed Gods promises. But there is one enemy that made this happen its fascinating once you see it. It will boost your faith. |

Disney was more or less shamed into after Universal had already done so. It is like after the hurricane. Disney employees lost 3 days pay but Universal employees didn't. The news media put it out there. Disney was all set to send a bunch of money to south Florida to help hurricane victims while docking their employees pay. The same employees that had suffered through the same hurricane. Disney paid the 3 days pay. Now the news is out that Disney is giving $1000 bonus like many other companies are doing. Yep, Universal has all ready done that.
