I personally think not.
And if I were him I would not, simply because I suspect "dirty tricks" instead of serious questions.

But if he does he should insist that the other side be sworn in and subject to his questions about the investigation and procedures, one for one in rotation
And they are required to answer or the interview ends immediately.

And that the interview be recorded and released to the public, immediately, 100% of it.

And Meuller is required to attend and be questioned under oath.

Otherwise his response should be "NO and you and your investigators can kiss my a$$".

Just my 2 cents worth.

I say no but there are options,

He could ask that questions be submitted in writing also that I think would be a good idea.

There should no answer to questions on firing Comey since that is executive privilege and not subjected to the investigation and in fact would be lowering the authority of the president.

The fact that there has been no crime also is justification that Trump doesn't have to go either. Nothing has been proven on Russian collusion and in fact many have said there was none. So why is this even going on with no basis.

They got Flynn for lying under oath and more than likely is the tactic that they want to do to Trump since they have no charge against him.

If i were him, i'd say go after Hillary for all of her bullshit then i'll answer any question you little hearts desire. They have been saying there is collusion with Russia, Where is the proof. Even some here say there was. Show me proof. But you can't, the lack of proof makes this issue nonexistent. You have been shown proof Hillary shared secret documents with many people that were not cleared to see them. Why is that ok and now the lies you spread about collusion is not ok? Hypocrites

As above, no way in he11 he should testify. I think all his, "can't wait to testify" is all posturing for the inevitable, "I want to but my legal council won't let me". There's no % in testifying, as we've already seen Hillary walk away from illegal acts that the FBI knew about. If Trump testifies it will be because of stupid ego making him ignore what every one of his lawyers is telling him, and for the first time since the election I will entertain the thought that he's not smart enough to be President.

I don't trust the integrity or impartiality of Mueller or the FBI at this point, they're just gonna try to get him to perjure himself on some little technicality or detail so they can say "Ahha! We have you now!" (Ya' know, like lying about sexually harassing and abusing a White House intern.)

Should he walk into the trap? That's between him and his lawyers, but at least I'm sure he knows it's a trap he's walking in to.

Written.
Or, as Hillary got to. Not under oath. No notes. No video. Just a chat.
Limit it to the original case. Russian collusion, nothing more.

Release the FISA memo in its entirety. Until that, not a chance. Mueller cannot be trusted, nor can the FBI.

I think Trump should do what his best lawyers think he should do.

I was a lawyer for 35 years, and when I needed a VA divorce specialist, I hired the best one I could find (and I had done about 300 divorces before, though long ago).

He must not go into a sworn hearing with the same mentality as he uses on Twitter daily.  (Benny Hill stomping through a mine field comes to mind.)

If I was his lawyer, I'd recommend duct tape.  (Don't get me wrong, I like him a lot.  But a lot of guys could do better with duct tape on their mouth..... me included).   2funny

I really dont understand how a false investigation is leading to the subpeona of the president when Hillary, Obama,Lynch, Comey have proven again and again they are corrupt even to Comey making the decision to not prosecute Hillary and lying to Congress before seeing all the evidence being proven.

There is something very terribly wrong with Washington and the corruption there.

If not legally necessary he should decline. Lots of legit reasons not to.

However, should he chose to, it should be done live, in prime time on FOX, with his lawyers present and the stipulation that he can ask questions of Muller as well.

Make it Pay Per View, with a cage-match beat down afterwards... He'd be able to pay off the debt doing that!

I do not think than have enough to require him to testify, assuming a non democrap judge.
If they should require his appearance they still cannot require him to answer any questions.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Strzok

A text message exchange between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page is evidence that the FBI was “pulling punches” in its investigation into Hillary Clinton, a top Republican senator is alleging.

or

Lisa Page, who exchanged anti-Trump text messages with Peter Strzok, her FBI agent lover, was seen for the first time since the affair was exposed

Nothing to see here just move along.

Lost in much of the discussion over this week’s developments in the growing Russia/Uranium/Clinton scandal is the fact that none other than Mueller was the FBI Director during this investigation. And that investigation is under serious scrutiny.

AWESOME! Congress calls for Investigation of Robert Mueller and His special counsel

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpvNCbI8NNI

Bruce Orr had closer ties to Fusion GPS because wife worked for Fusion and now many are calling for investigation.

Didnt realize Muller was the investigator for the internal revenue scandal.

I think he should testify now. Then answer all their questions with his own questions. Then when it was over fire Mueller for being a jack wagon and hire someone to clean house in the FBI?  Someone has bought Mueller off (Clintons?)

I doubt he is bought off, just simply a swamp monster that maybe running cover for the other swamp monsters that he has associated with over his long career.  They are happy ( or comfortable ) with the way the management has run the FBI and DOJ and do not want needed changes to out the politicization of these Departments.   If he is a man of honor he would change directions 180 degrees and go after the real corruption that is so self evident and a huge pox on these dept.  However I  and no one else has seen this change of direction and they have no problem leaking what they are doing.

I will take you scenario and go another step that would make for sheer entertainment.  Take that interview and bring in a live camera crew.  Let one of his lawyers ( Jay Sekulo that has recently won the Center For Law and Justice case against the IRS for depriving Tea Party associations in 2012 ) lay out no collusion ( collusion is not even a crime anyway except SEC matters ) and read the constitution and statures that give a President the right to fire anyone in the Executive Dept with no explanation needed.  Then blast this case based on a hoax and false premise.  List the real culprits that started this in the HC Dem party in 2016 with unlawful Fisa warrants based on made up Russian Dossier, wire taps, the DOJ and FBI officials that all conspired to take down Trump with all the documentation that Sekulow has and believe me he has a bunch.

Yes, holds alot of weight coming from a man that still backs Clinton.

You forgot or never knew the goal because that is who you are,

The goal its not Republican or Democrat, its the survival of a nation that many love and call home. Its about removing people who are corrupt and changing the system to their likes and not upholding or distorting the rule of law and supporting the ones that want the US to stay a sovereign power and a true super power and have a good life for all here.

You addressed not one issue of the denigration of a good man. I still back Clinton ? You know little of me and evidently have paid little attention to my posts on the subject. I never knew the goal ? Ha ! I've given 4 years to my country for the goal. Have you ? Your history of posting lies and not acknowledging your errors says much of you. A better man admits his mistakes.
