Although Memorial Day weekend is only a few weeks ahead of Inzane this year, we will still have the Hillbilly Hwy ride. Same location as last year , Pikeville KY. Motel Information : Hatfield-McCoy Lodge

I have to take some international trips for work in the upcoming months, hopefully I can squeeze out a weekend and plan a Wild Bunch scouting ride. If not it will be a free for all, as great roads are everywhere in the area. I will contact the motel shortly on getting group rates and discounts. If you reserved a room last year and cannot attend this year, please let me know. |

Hard to say at this early date! Harder yet, because I'm the one who must decide!!! I did make a reservation last year; however, ... I'm toying with the notion of going the other way. I just learned the other day that Kendall & Des are planning a tenth anniversary return to Tucumcari, NM... and I'm leaning towards going there that same weekend.
I've also been toying with the idea I'd take a long-cut to IZ this year... by riding through Washington state on my way... Tucumcari would be sort of on the way, so... I'd say I'm a very 'doubtful at best' attendee this year... Thought I'd let you know in case rooms become 'precious', so mine could be put to better use... if I don't end up making it this time.

Sounds like a plan! Ginger and I will be there along with some friends that are former Harley riders that have "Seen the Light" and are now riding an F6B. I'll tell them to call and reserve a room once you have a rate worked out. |

I don't think that they are set up to make reservations on their website. You have to give them a call. Last year they didn't even require a CC # to hold the room. The woman told me that she didn't want to be responsible for people's CC information. |

Yeah,
They do things old school. No computer in the front lobby, they write down rooms as they are taken in a calender book the good ole fashion manual way, Pencil and paper!

The lady just called me as I sent an email yesterday. Not many rooms left. She said everyone from last year is coming back. I got mine, now cross my fingers my business clients do not blow up my plans. It happens a lot - did not even get a vacation last year.

Just a reminder: YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE A ROCKING GREAT TIME IN EASTERN KENTUCKY COME MAY !!! Pike county and the surrounding area will be ready for everyone to come enjoy some fantastic Hillbilly rides on some of the bestest curvy roads to be found anywhere. Reb has planned out a wonderful route to show off my neck of the woods. I think it is kinds pretty and the hospitality will be top shelf. Plan on making this trek to Pikeville as I am sure you will enjoy every moment of true mountain living.

BUMB - from Page 6 keeping it alive. Its a snowy Michigan Winter Storm here on 1March. DiD manage to get a couple hundred miles in on 27Feb, probably ride again 3-4 March.  Looking forward to this ride - it's the first of the season you get to see " everyone". Woo - Hoo!

I made a room reservation but do not think that I will be able to make it. I will know by the end of the weekend if I will be able to go or not. I will be canceling the room Mon. if I cannot make it. Message me with your contact information if you are looking for a room and I will give you a call and I will tell the hotel that you will be calling to take my room.
