I understand some think 666 is code for the "devil" Interestingly if you add 6 + 6+ 6 is 18 CHAI = life, in gematria you can google it if you want just something to ponder is this though  666 written in Hebrew (as it was at the time) spells out Kesar (julius ceasar) who was to the apostles the devil so maybe it was just them saying the man was the devil to them. Free speech being punishable by death in Rome and all that YMMV |

We had a cult move in the area that believed the 666 to be devilish. If they had the numbers come up on a cash register they would fall out screaming and shaking.
They also believed that no law pertained to them. They punished by using stocks and beatings. I ended up in the middle of it investigating a supposed murder of a child. A mother from the cult secretly came to town and reported her son missing. They would have beat her or worse if they found she had come to the law. A week and a half into the investigation I found 2 murdered kids buried on the property. The proper people were arrested and charged. A weird sight, All the homes on the property were mobil homes, and all painted matching powder blue. They had a gun tower manned 24/7.
It seemed as though these people all disappeared over night after things were over and done with. There then poof, gone. They went south some place. I was labled a racist because the people of the cult were black. I was told by the Profit of the cult that I would be killed if I ever entered the property again. He was one of the three I arrested. Someone from there painted 666 on my cruiser with spray paint. Sorry about the novel, those numbers just are a reminder for me.
My normal breakfast spot has a waitress that if your bill comes to 666, she will scratch out the numbers and will ad or deduct a penny.

One of our fleet types is the Airbus A300, we have 148 of them. Each of the different fleet types has a particular series of consecutive (for the most part) tail numbers. The list for the Airbus goes from 601FE-692FE, except for one. You guessed it, 666FE is nowhere to be found.....  This particular plane is of a different mod status, tail number of 722FE. We changed the left engine a couple of months ago..... |
