Hmmmm.......

Well, I went out to the shop, waded through the slush and cranked the fat lady up.   Sat on her till she reached normal operating temp then shut her off.     Didn't leave the shop but, I did get some seat time....     Hope that helps.       Wink

Well

15 degrees below zero here, with a 7 mile per hour breeze making the "feel like" temp 30 degrees below zero.

But the valkyrie is in storage in Tulsa after an Attic Rat tune up Cheesy

Can't help you out with a ride report Evan, my roads are covered in ice, snow, sand & salt. tickedoff

I did do a ride yesterday, in my dually, to NH, to pick up some TBR's for $50.00.

Uneventful, but it's Valk related.

Can you wait till this afternoon and I'll try and put something together. Won't have pictures but, it is suppose to be in the seventies here in Austin today and I'm taking the "Great Escape" out for a ride.

We are in the middle of a January thaw here in Oregon.  Temps in the upper 50's, sun shinning, really great.   Went for over 160 mile ride on Friday, enjoyed many miles of riding on secondary county roads.   Most of the roads were in CA, I slip over the boarder when no one is looking, know lots of back roads.

Saw two bald eagles having a dispute over something, not sure if it was over a lady at this time of the year.   One rolled over with talons raised.  Both flew off different ways.

Only other wildlife were some deer gracing the yards at the Tule lake National refuge head quarters, think they feed them.  Thankfully they were the only ones I saw.  Did see lots of "Slow Elk" munching on what is left of last summer grass.

Not much traffic out and about.

Plan on another ride later today as soon as the temps get up and fog goes away in the low places.

Best I could do for you Oss.

Like someone else - the best I can do today is go out to the shed where the Valk is, and start her up.
 Done....

Oss, if it helps, I went for another ride yesterday.  A very nice ride of 150 miles.  Headed East out of town towards some higher country.   Was sort of disappointed that there wasn't much snow when I turned around.  Normally where I did the 180, there should have been feet of snow, only about 8" of the white.   Going to be a long dry summer for the Farmers around here.  Hopefully we get some late winter snows.  Roads were clear and dry.  Thankfully OR doesn't use salt on this side of the mountain, only on I-5  (in some several places).

Only one other biker out, the rest must have been home to watch the eagles win.
