Had to go.

Got home around 4pm and the sun was warm and still high enough.

Pulled the interstate out of hibernation and fired her up.

Started right up, a little gas starved for about 10 seconds, then smooth as always.

I was just going to go around the neighborhood, about 10 miles or so, to break in the new sneakers, but it was so nice I got over 60.

February? Really?

I remember, not to many years ago, I only left the house for provisions in February because -10 was on the thermometer a lot.

New rubber is double dark side with the hankook optimo and a D404 rear reversed.

Loving that Hankook.

Grin none of that new fangled stuff for me. That new GoldWing with heated grips and seat is looking more appealing.  Smiley

It was 76, bright and sunny in Boston yesterday when I left work, 48 and heavy fog off the ocean on Cape Cod, 70 miles away. It smelled nice, though....

Hook,

Yeah, we all know how it is... well, for us. Many of us don't have to 'hibernate' for months on end, so perhaps we don't fully appreciate how much it means to you! Yeah, ten miles can turn into sixty in the blinking of an eye!!!

Anyway, glad you got out for a therapeutic scoot, and that your gal is running like the superb machine she was intended to be. I'm holed up down in extreme south Texas dodging moisture drops... may have to wait around another day, but, hey, that's just the way I roll... or don't...

Nice ya got out Bill, I could only go a mile one way and about mile and a half the other way before I hit saltwater roads. Couldn’t get to clear roads. So it was 5 miles and back into hibernation.
Would be nice if winter was done, but we know better...

Been nice temperatures in South Mississippi. Cranked the Wing Sunday, to go and get some fresh gas....I got fresh gas twice, resulting in 216 miles!! Great to be riding!
